This is followed by comprehensive chapters about the coachbuilders and the bodies they mounted on the chassis, and histories of many of the cars. There are almost 500 illustrations, most from the 1930s and 1940s, including large numbers of original coachbuilder and dealer photographs, many never published before. Most examples of the 727 Phantom IIIs ever built are illustrated in the book.
