Product description
This book tells the story of speedway racing in Scotland from the pioneering days of 1928 through to the new millenium. Although not a comprehensive history, it concentrates on the two main venues of Glasgow and Edinburgh, through their many changes of track, and looks at the other main venues of Linlithgow, Ashfield and Motherwell. The Pioneer Year is singled out for special attention and the many short-lived venues are covered under a single chapter.
