Tonino Tognana was born in Treviso in May 1955, the only son with four sisters, since childhood he has directed his passion mainly to racing cars. After years of apprenticeship with Opel, thanks to the good results achieved he manages to drive competitive semi-official and/or official cars of the various manufacturers, from Fiat Abarth, to Ferrari, to Lancia, and finally to Porsche. During his racing career he drove 31 different cars, managing to win on his debut 10 times. The only driver in Ferrari’s long history to have led a Prancing Horse car to victory, in 1982, in a National Championship of International Rallies, which has always been dominated by all the other car manufacturers. He retired from a semi-professional career at the age of 28, to devote himself to family business. The pages of this book are full of anecdotes and curiosities. To complete the work, a DVD that tells, with original and unpublished images, the winning ride in the 1982 Italian International Rallies Championship with the Ferrari 308 GTB.
