Change everything so as not to change anything
‘If we want everything to remain as it is, everything must change’ is the very famous phrase pronounced by Tancredi, nephew of Prince Fabrizio Salina in the famous novel ‘Il Gattopardo’ by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Phrase we borrowed to understand where we are going with the ecological transition. We have just voted for the European Parliament and we still do not know what choices it will make with regard to mobility and a stop to the production of thermal engines. Of course we no longer have the Alphas of the last century, today we have the technology that will allow us in the future to pollute even less (hopefully) but in practice this change towards the electric will probably not renew anything, only moving this problem to be solved to future generations. Like the ‘Gattopard’ we can’t predict it, but maybe it’s true that everything has changed or everything has remained the same but only presents itself in a different form?
In the meantime, the collection linked to the Alfa Romeo brand is full of vigor and does not cease to pay tribute to those who have given prestige to the Casa del Portello. Like the collector who commissioned the replica of the Flying Disc. A real tribute to a car from the 50s of which there are only five examples, built by Carrozzeria Touring together with a group of men who alone have written a piece of the history of motoring: Gioachino Colombo, Carlo Chiti, Carlo Felice Bianchi Anderloni, Giuseppe Busso and Consalvo Sanesi who took it to the track. Or to the countless rallies and raids that have been held for a few months now thanks to the spring, rainy, but which has not discouraged enthusiasts. Among many, the third edition of RealAlfa that gathered in Arese a representation of iconic cars with the excuse of celebrating the Juliet that extinguished the 70 candles. But without reaching the heights of the competition Alphas even a “simple” Alfasud Sprint can trigger some memories in many of us, and we assure you that they are all pleasant, browse the newspaper you have in your hands and you will agree with us.
