Product description

It was on December 1, 1914 when Alfieri Maserati communicated to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bologna the opening in Via Dé Pepoli of a workshop dedicated to the repair of cars. The activity immediately became intense and, within a decade, together with his brothers, Alfieri began to build cars with their own brand.

The first Maserati, the Tipo 26, with a lot of Tridente imprinted on top of the radiator, thus saw the light in 1926. Despite the difficult moments, in this first century of life, the House founded by the Maserati brothers has become, together with Ferrari and a few other brands, one of the emblems of Made in Italy and a reality that the whole world envies us.

To retrace these hundred years are some of the most prestigious firms of industry journalism, from Luca Dal Monte, Director of Press and External Relations for Maserati, who traces a century of industrial history, to Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Style of the Fiat Group, who offers his own point of view on the stylistic evolution of the Trident cars. Cesare De Agostini and Gianni Cancellieri have the task of telling the competitive events of Maserati which, since its origins, has made sporting commitment its own workhorse.
