Product description
In the early 1970s, Renault’s car range offered popular saloons with the Renault 4 and 6, family saloons with the Renault 12 and 16, and sports coupés with the Renault 15 and 17. The conversion to front-wheel drive was completed and, with the opening of the European market, Renault had to prepare itself to face the competitors of the upper segment for which it did not yet have a model, unlike the other French manufacturers. With the Renault 20 and 30, from 1975, this upward shift materialized. These models included many innovations while maintaining the technical and practical design of their predecessors. This book contains all the details of these two models: the first drawings and prototypes, the evolution of the different versions marketed up to 1984, exports, press articles, advertisements, miniatures… Without forgetting the unexpected participation in competitions, on circuits, in rallies and rally-raids.
