Product description
This is not a normal book, but a kind of open letter for all motorsport enthusiasts. So it was Alonso, Hamilton, Berger, Verstappen, Piquet and Alesi who told the driving tricks and, thanks to the historical reconstruction of the highlight events that in 70 years have made the history of Imola, it seems to feel the cheering of the crowd covering the hills, the human heat that invades every corner of the track.
Then there are many unique testimonies: hundreds of archival photos in high quality, collage of tickets and passes for the races, the wonderful letter from Enzo Ferrari, including the one of October 1952 in which he thanked Imola when he had been able to try his cars on the racetrack still to be completed. From there it was all a crescendo, until in 1963 F1 landed on the circuit with the triumph of Lotus and Jim Clark.
A crescendo that has never stopped and that today you find condensed in the 300 pages of issue 5 of Machina.
