Product description
Ghersi, Cortese, De Filippis, Villoresi, Munaron, Bandini. They were “the aces”, the heroes of the steering wheels that ran on the most prestigious asphalt in the world and that, in various stages, found themselves in Sassari to challenge each other, wheel against wheel. In 1933 and from 1953 to 1959, Sassari entered by right, thanks to these protagonists, into the national motoring scene. In those years took place the “Circuit of Sassari”, also called “Circuit of Platamona”, a road speed race that, even if it did not come to the fame of other races like the Mille Miglia and the Targa Florio, remained one of the most challenging road races.
