Henri Pescarolo is one of the most popular racing drivers in France, one of the last representatives of the glorious epoch which, in the early 1960s, saw the outbreak of a generation of champions led by his friend Jean-Pierre Beltoise, the consecration of Matra and the arrival of Elf. Over the coming 35 years “Pesca” competed in World Endurance Championships and achieved six victories in 24 hour races (four at Le Mans, one in Daytona, one in Paul-Ricard) additional to this he competed in 56 Formula 1 Grand Prix and made 15 starts in the Rally Paris-Dakar. From 1999 he ran his own racing team and started building own race cars in 2007. This book tells all about the career of the passionate racing driver Henri Pescarolo with numerous anecdotes and more than 500 – often unpublished – photographs.
