Product description
The passion for engines of Fosco De Silvestri comes from far away. The author of this book began to cultivate it when he was a child, in his land of origin, the Romagna that saw all the major moto-world races pass by on the roads of Rimini, Riccione, Cattolica, Cesenatico and Misano Adriatico and champions like Pasolini, Agostini, Bergamonti and Read.
A passion handed down by his father, a mechanic, excellent driver and motoring enthusiast, and which would lead De Silvestri to become one of the protagonists of national motoring: in 1981 he began to collaborate with Ferrari designing Gran Turismo and Formula 1.
To him are due intuitions that changed the history of racing, such as the invention of the first Ferrari car gearbox.
