Known to all in the sector as the “Cougar of Corneliano d’Alba”, Dario Cerrato was one of the most important Italian drivers in world rallying for almost 20 years, from the mid-Seventies to the early Nineties. After having made his bones with Opel, Cerrato went on to star with the Lancias: 037, Delta S4 and 4WD, Cerrato won four Italian rally championships and three European titles in 1985, 1987 and 1990. While never winning a WRC round, Cerrato was nonetheless a protagonist in the World Championship, with a second place in the Sanremo Rally in 1986 being his best result.
This book covers his entire rallying career for the first time, without overlooking the human aspects of a man that has much to recount about life beyond the rallying circus.
