Christa Solbach (Elversberg, Germany, July 1, 1936) is one of the most important figures in the history of international wasp associationism. She began her life with the Vespa in 1953 in the Vespa Club Völklingen, a city in the independent state of Saar. The following year, at the age of 18, he was in Paris at the first major European gathering of the Vespists, being then present at all the main events in the following years.
In 1958 she married Pietro Rozza, manager of the Vespa Club d’Italia, and moved to Turin. In 1984 she was chosen as the first President of the newborn FIV (Fédération Internationale des Vespa Clubs) thanks to the infinite knowledge gained over many years and the mastery of four languages: a position that she will maintain until the dissolution of the institution at the end of 2005.
In this period she is in charge of the organization of Eurovespa in numerous European countries (Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Greece, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Spain, San Marino), spreading a message of peace and harmony between the peoples in the name of Vespa.
