For twenty years I have been an automotive journalist and like many car fans, I have always loved Porsche, for its history, its singularity, its evolution. Through more than five hundred advertisements and catalogues, my archives supplemented by those of the archives of the Porsche Museum ( who collaborated closely in the production of this work) made this book possible.
As is often the case, this book is the realization of a desire: to create a book different from those that can be found in bookstores. Indeed, there are numerous works on the 911, some of which are of very high quality, but it was necessary to talk in a way that has never been seen before. Nothing exists on the art and way that Porsche has talked about and made people talk about the 911 since its creation. It is now done. I really hope the reader enjoys reading “A Life In Porsche 911” as much as I enjoyed writing it.
