In the immediate post-war period, the 50cc mopeds allowed the popular masses to motorize themselves economically. One brand in particular embodies this renewal: Motobécane, which will baptize its new moped with the name of Mobylette. This proper name will become common and will define all these 50 cm3 whose success will extend from the 1950s to the end of the 1980s. Mopeds flourished among all manufacturers, French but also European and Asian. Some will become cult: Bleue Motobécane, Velosolex, Honda Dax, Peugeot 103 and Motobécane / MBK 51 Super …….
