Reisner Paula

Paula Reisner, nee Frei, was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia on December 27, 1935.

In January 1950 she and her family left Prague, and while her parents were finding a suitable place to resettle she was sent to an English boarding school in Cambridge. She rejoined her family in Canada at the end of September 1951. On finishing high school, Paula attended Sir George Williams College and worked as an investment statistician for the Bronfman family. After marrying Frank Reisner, they decided to go to Europe for a three month visit, which led to settling in Turin, Italy and starting Intermeccanica. Paula worked with Frank taking care of billing, shipping and all necessary typing. Once they started producing cars, she also became involved in quality control of paint and final body assembly. At Automobili Intermeccanica in Santa Ana, California, Paula was again working in quality control. From 1982, office management and book keeping became her main occupation at Intermeccanica International Inc, in Canada, and today she works part time with Henry Reisner, helping with costing and pricing studies.
