Glen Simon

Simon Glen has spent much of his adult life travelling the world in search of rare Volkswagens (those built in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, Nigeria and South Africa).

He has also researched and collated a huge collection of VW sales brochures, repair manuals and magazine articles. His years of experience, and vast store of literature has provided the material for his books “Volkswagens of the World” and The Book of the Volkswagen Type 3. He has owned 25 different Volkswagen models, including seven Type 3s, which had been used for long haul travel in remote parts of Africa, and a VW T6 Transporter. Simon was born in Zambia, and now lives in Australia.
