Consonni Walter
Walter Consonni was born in Monza in 1952, a stone’s throw from the National Circuit where he spent his childhood fascinated by motorcycles, racing cars and pilots. One of them, Tino Brambilla from Monza, lives in the same street as Walter who often watched him prepare his engines. Thus the passion for racing blossomed.
He became a teacher in the world of school and a talented coach of artistic gymnastics, but he never abandoned the world of motorsport also thanks to his brother Peo, first a good mechanic of Tino and Vittorio Brambilla and then an esteemed driver, Italian Formula 2000 Champion in 1980. He wrote numerous essays and articles on gymnastics and sport, then he wanted to go back to his origins by trying his hand at books on the world of racing and pilots. For Giorgio Nada he wrote: Tino Brambilla Mi è sempre piaciuto vincere (2015) and Vittorio Brambilla Il mago della pioggia (2019).
