Burr Norman

Originally trained as an engineer at Rolls Royce Aero Engines and Bath University, lifelong petrolhead Norman Burr has been a technical journalist practically all his working life, firstly with professional and industrial magazines, then as a freelance and subsequently through Pagefast Ltd, a small printing and publishing company which he helped found, in Lancaster, England.

In 2006, wanting to get off the production treadmill, he left the company and reverted to freelance work. Although he has edited a huge range of technical and academic material, his own writing mostly centres on sport aviation and automotive subjects.
